I firmly believe that citizens across East Baton Rouge Parish share a common purpose: to support and inspire each other, to create opportunity for future generations, and to feel a sense of fellowship, safety, and belonging together. Ours is a diverse community joined more by our common future than by our common pasts.

A Diverse District

Because I feel that being a part of our community should be viewed as both a gift and a responsibility, in June 2020 I announced my candidacy for East Baton Rouge Metro Council for District 3. Metro Council District 3 is a diverse district with many distinct neighborhoods and assets, and since taking office in January 2021, I have been honored to serve as the elected representative for District 3 on our Metro Council.
